Over the past few years, Utrecht Science Week has grown into a leading annual event in Utrecht, showcasing innovation, research, and collaboration at the largest science park in the Netherlands.

The programme features more than 50 speakers and 30 events, spread across over 25 locations throughout Utrecht Science Park. It offers a diverse range of events, including lectures, panel discussions, knowledge fairs, and guided tours for professionals and students.

Partners contributing to the event include Utrecht University, HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, UMC Utrecht, UtrechtInc, the Princess Máxima Center, Wilhelmina Children's Hospital, Danone Nutricia, Bilthoven Biologicals, and Utrecht Life Sciences.

Some highlights of this year's edition include:

• The opening of Utrecht Science Week, featuring a keynote by Juliette Legler, Professor of Toxicology. Her research focuses on the effects of environmental chemicals on hormones, health, and development.

• A Walking Dinner stakeholder event for board members, politicians, directors, and CEOs, with this year's theme: "Utrecht Child Health."

• A symposium on the immune system, exploring the question: How can we harness our immune system to protect us—without turning it against ourselves?

• A lecture "The Future of Mobility & Health: From Biology to Society."

• Sustainability Day, organised by HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and Utrecht University, featuring keynote speakers, workshops, and the Green Market.

• Young entrepreneurs, students, researchers, and startups can attend the UtrechtInc Open Day to discover how UtrechtInc can support them in launching and growing a business in the Life Sciences & Health sector.

• A public lecture on vaccination presented by Bilthoven Biologicals.
