Imran is a cultural anthropologist with a Ph.D. from the University of Oxford. He has conducted extensive fieldwork across Africa, Latin America and Asia, his research has been published in top academic journals.
He is also the curator of the "World Cultures" exhibit at the Smithsonian Institution and author of "Living Traditions: An Anthropological Journey.
